Open Workshop – Traditional Building Crafts

On 22 September, 2024, Sunday, between 11.00 and 15.00, the Transylvania Trust Foundation will hold an Open workshop of traditional building crafts, where participants will have an opportunity to get acquainted with and even try out certain crafts, such as stone carving, decorative rendering, masonry, traditional joinery and furniture restoration. The craftsmen involved are part of the team working on the castle’s restoration, who also teach the participants (students and workers) from the country and abroad at the built heritage conservation trainings held at the castle for almost 25 years.

We hereby invite the interested public to this event, especially the younger generation, who will be able to acquire valuable professional knowledge at the workshop.

Participation is free of charge.
